This section brings together my notes on Cyprus' history from ancient times to the present day. It also covers the development of some of the island's key commodities and threats to them - copper, sugar, carob beans and locusts.

There are also bits of history tucked into every page, of course. See in particular the different museum collections highlighted in the Towns section and the tombs at Malloura in Along the Green Line III.
