These photos are from a drive from the northern tip of the Applecross Peninsula at Fearnmore via Shieldaig and the back road to Kishorn. We then headed for Plockton/Am Ploc and the crofting country there before rounding the coast to look across to Skye, back over the saddle to Loch Carron and the back road again to our precarious fastness in Fearnmore for another tempestuous night of gales buffeting the house.
